With your OilBud™ order, you’ll receive detailed installation instructions for your model of Harley Davidson motorcycle. You’ll be walked through the installation process with photographs for each phase.

Installation Guides
Kit Includes
1. Quality JIC/ORB steel fittings that offer superior leak protection.
2. Though the crimped brass ends resemble a stock-like appearance, the ends are a chromed finish where visible.
3. Hand built in our shop, each kit comes with built-to-length, braided stainless Teflon high-durability hoses.
4. Specifically built for 1999-Present Harley Davidsons:
• Touring/Bagger (includes Tri Glide)
• Modified for Baker Oil Pan, Centerstand, True-Track
• Sotftail (non abs) and Softail (abs)
• Dyna
5. All coolers are tig welded. This ensures structural integrity.
6. The adapter plate is CNC milled out of 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum. By design, it resembles the fin edges on the cylinders.
7. The adapters are machined finish, polished, or powder-coated black.
Adapter Details
8. Adapter halves and thermostat caps are CNC milled out of 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum.
9. Threaded and hollow attach nut mounts the oil filter to the adapter.
10. Quality JIC/ORB steel fittings that offer superior leak protection.
11. O-Rings are used instead of gaskets to ensure the highest leak protection.
12. All adapter bolts are stainless 10/24 allen with lock washers.
13. Thermostat and thermostat cap description:
Cover options: machined finish, polished, or black powder-coated.
Thermostat-regulated; opens at about 170° F and is fully open at 190°F.
Spring-returns thermostat to its original position when cooled.
O-ring, superior leak protection.
14. Threaded and hollow attach nut mounts the inner adapter half to the oil filter attach mount.
