Introducing the new Harley Milwaukee8 Tri Glide Oil Cooler that tests oil temperatures at 90 degrees cooler in stop and go traffic!

We’re introducing the brand new Harley-Davidson M8 Tri Glide Oil Bud oil cooler. Here, I’ve got the very first oil cooler that Bud ever designed for a Softail. The reason I’m showing you this is to give you a sense of the differences between the models. All of the oil coolers are made from 6061 T6 aluminum, and they all feature fins. These fins act as heat sinks, which allows them to work effectively even in stop-and-go traffic. The coolers fit up into the frame rails, so there’s no need to worry about adding a fan.

Now, take a look at the Harley-Davidson M8 Tri Glide model. As you can see, it’s about one-third larger than the original design. It also operates on the heat sink concept, so it works well in stop-and-go traffic. While riding down the road, the cooler can reduce the oil temperature by 35 to 40 degrees. In stop-and-go traffic, we’ve measured temperature reductions of up to 90 degrees. I know that might sound unbelievable, but it’s a fact.
